Job Summary
The Radiology Intern will assist in delivering diagnostic radiography services, including X-ray examinations and ultrasounds, while ensuring adherence to radiation safety regulations. This role involves supporting the radiographer and providing quality care to patients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in attending to patients for various X-ray examinations and ultrasounds.
- Assist in emergency treatment of patients if necessary, such as allergic reactions.
- Assist in observing and reporting any erratic or defective performance of equipment.
- Assist in explaining procedures and providing reassurance to patients.
- Assist in performing mobile X-rays.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
- Completion of a three-month attachment in a recognized institution.
- Valid private practicing license.
- Registered with the Radiation Protection Board.
