Job Summary
Bristol Park Hospital is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications, provide guidance on safe medication use, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, and review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of essential medicines.
- Maintain records of all medications dispensed and controlled substances.
- Provide guidance on the safe use of medications to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assess patient history to prevent adverse drug interactions.
- Educate patients on dosage, side effects, and potential interactions of prescribed medications.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and national healthcare guidelines.
- Participate in drug safety programs and report adverse drug reactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new drugs and treatment protocols.
- Work alongside clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans.
- Conduct training sessions for hospital staff on medication safety and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, or equivalent).
- Valid pharmacy license and registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
