Job Summary
The Palliative Care Clinical Officer will provide evidence-based palliative care services to patients, families, and care providers. This role involves managing symptoms, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring continuous professional development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based palliative care services to assigned patients, families, and care providers within agreed guidelines.
- Manage symptoms by prescribing safe and effective treatments and consulting with other care team members as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all activities to preserve the dignity of all patients.
- Ensure continuous professional development (CPD) as per the guidelines of the Clinical Officers Council.
- Conduct daily patient consultations both in/outpatient in collaboration with Palliative Care Teams, nursing, and medical staff in all hospital departments.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Palliative Care.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or any other related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
- Valid private practicing license.
- Registered with the Clinical Officers Council (COC).
