Job Summary
Cigna is seeking an "On-site" Nurse Case Manager to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate health services for individuals. This client-facing role involves providing clinical information, coordinating complex care plans, and facilitating provider relations at Aga Khan.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of medical care for members, communicating with healthcare providers and negotiating treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of members' medical conditions and develop tailored care plans.
- Monitor members' progress, adjust care plans, and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between members, healthcare providers, and clients.
- Manage medical costs and negotiate cost-effective treatment options.
- Ensure members receive appropriate care in accordance with client policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical trends and advancements.
- Provide emotional support and information to members and their families.
- Act as a liaison for provider relations, fostering strong working relationships with healthcare providers.
- Serve as the clinical representative for strategic clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Schedule visits and meetings with clients on a regular basis.
- Potentially provide regional line management to other nursing professionals.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active nursing license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and conditions.

- Experience in client-facing roles.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages desirable.
