Job Summary
Artcaffe Coffee and Bakery is seeking young, energetic, and passionate Cashiers to join their team in Nanyuki. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision and efficiency.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, promotions, and special offers.
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and ensure adequate supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth order processing.
- Upsell and promote additional products and services to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all cash handling and security procedures.
- Prepare and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
