Job Summary

HomeBiogas is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their operations in Nyeri. The role involves ensuring smooth daily operations and providing administrative support to the team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize office files, documents, and records, both physical and digital.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents.   
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other administrative materials.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of office equipment.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports.
  • Provide support for HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records and assisting with recruitment.
  • Coordinate and organize company events and activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of office policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company regulations and standards.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and promote the company’s mission.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).   
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.   
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental issues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
