Job Overview

The successful candidate will be coordinating and managing administrative roles at Avenue healthcare. The  Coordinator will be technically reporting to the immediate supervisor.

Duties And Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be tasked with the following roles:
  • Carry out assessments for all Avenue healthcare clients
  • Formulate a management plan for all clients and explain the management plan to the assigned clients.
  • On timely evaluate, review and grade the caregivers according to the clients outcomes.
  • Closely monitor the client outcomes and carry out service audits in terms of quality.
  • Participate and contribute in continuous medical education sessions
  • Manage and lead a team of caregivers to ensure effective and on timely delivery of quality healthcare to ensure service continuation.
  • Conduct a daily preview of Nursing/caregiver report.
  • Regularly follow up and contact clients for clinical case assessments.
  • Review and modify client care plans according too the client response on management plan.
  • Provide professional homebased care to our clients.
  • Effectively conduct ward rounds and continuously market all Avenue healthcare products during the ward rounds.
  • On timely conduct visits to our clients and caregivers to collect report on response to the management and quality of service.
  • Supervise caregivers ensuring that they deliver technical support throughout 24 hours.
  • Identify challenges/gaps and make recommendations as well as do follow up to ensure the recommendation is implemented.
  • Identify and recommend on possible risks relating to clients at the the hospital level or at home.
  • Immediately report an unprofessional practices at Avenue healthcare management that may alter proper provision of services.
  • Always ensuring the operational licenses at the office are valid.
  • Provide advices and recommendations to the hiring team.
  • Act as the head of patient attendant training and homebased care in Mombasa
  • Take part in formulation of new company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring the facility has enough training equipments for homebased care.
  • Coordinating the payments of locum staff
  • Supervision of students on attachments or internship as well as clinical deployment.
  • Carry out students clinical assessments and clinical procedures 
  • Compiling and computing students results
  • Instilling ethics and discipline among home based care students.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should meet the following:
  • Diploma  in Nursing from a recognized institution, a Bachelors degree is an advantage.
  • A valid practicing license
  • A minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Administrative experience is preferred.
