Job Overview
GiveDirectly is seeking to hire an experienced and competent Finance Systems Manager who will assist in achieving their goals of living by its value and Creating a Positive Energy. The Finance Systems Manager will be reporting to Senior Manager Information Security and IT. Since cash is the center of the GD organization, finance systems manager will play a critical role in GD including decisions on delivering efficient and effective programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates with be entitled to the following task:
- Provide user support ad ensure effective user access.
- Develop finance tech systems strategy.
- Ensure the finance team has the right software tools to operate productively.
- Own finance tech systems like administration, integration ad configuration.
- Create a deep understanding of finance issues and needs.
- Respond to user requests via the ticketing systems.
- Offer training and support to all users in the organization.
- Create and ensure data control upholding data quality contracts for core finance data.

Requirements
- Profiency in English
- A minimum experience of 4 years in financial systems management or relevant professional
- Expertise in accounting software.
- Exceptional experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling
- Microsoft excel and google sheets expertise
- Accounting principles and financial reporting standards knowledge
- Experience in project management
- Innovative and ability to drive process improvements
- High attention to detail
- High customer service
- Ability to communicate technical concepts
- Accounting experience will e an added advantage
- Experience working with relational database will e an added advantage
