Job Overview

The successful candidate will provide technical support in accounting departments as well as ensure on timely and accurate reconciliation and payment of account payables. The Accounts Payable Officer will be reporting to his/her respective supervisor.

Duties And Responsibilities

Successful candidates will have the following roles to play:

Effectively posting suppliers invoice on the financial systems
Accurate check all the supporting documents to supplier invoices (LPOS, GRNS, Delivery notes ETRS, job cards and fully authorized for payments)
Accurately analyze and obtain supplier statements and sign offs of an outstanding amounts per month and providing information on the accrues
Make payments to suppliers and doctors as well as send remittance advices on time
Keep and supplier relations by solving any disputes on time
Advice accounts payable manger of any arising matters and how to resolve them.
Effectively filing all documents related to accounts payable department including invoices and receipts.
assist in coming up with statutory audit schedules.
Providing audit information when necessary.
Performing any other task as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should meet the following:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or in a relevant field
CPA II is an advantage
A minimum of 2 years working experience
Attention to detail
Critical thinking, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent Communication skills
